Producer

The Show Producer is responsible for ideating to help generate local content, cross-departmental communication, and producing WYPR local news shows from concept to broadcast. The ideal candidate is curious about the intersection of local and national news and culture, and a skilled audio and video producer with a strong journalism background and social media experience. This position reports to WYPR’s Executive Producer and works closely with hosts, news team, and digital to deliver polished, community centered programming across platforms. Finance Manager

The Finance Manager has primary responsibility for serving as the main contact for the day-to-day accounting function for BPM including full-cycle accounting, financial statements preparation, audit/990 assistance and grant reporting. This position reports to our CFO and the CEO. This position oversees the AP/AR Specialist and works closely with other senior managers at BPM. Full description and details here.

Anthony Brandon Summer Fellowship (Paid) — WYPR Journalism or WTMD Music/Production

The Anthony Brandon Summer Fellowship is a paid summer opportunity designed to support emerging talent and expand pathways into careers in public media, with a particular focus on journalism and content production. 

The fellow will gain hands-on exposure to the production lifecycle of public media content while contributing to day-to-day workflows across Baltimore Public Media.
